HNC. Holistic Nurse Certified, CHTP/I Certified Healing Touch Practitioner and Instructor.
Judy is a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner and Instructor with Healing Touch International,Inc. She is also a Certified Holistic Nurse with the American Holistic Nurses Association and is a Charter Member of both of these organizations. She has taught classes at the community college level in the Holistic Nursing curriculum for 16 years. She maintains a private practice in Sanibel, Fl. and in N.E. Colorado. Her joy is in teaching and spending special time with family and friends in the Great out-of-doors.
She began taking classes from Janet Mentgen, founder of Healing Touch, in 1986. She has taken all 6 levels multiple times. She started teaching Level 1 in 1992 in preparation to teach and be certified to teach. She then became an employee of Colorado Center for Healing Touch in 1997. From then on she taught the Level 6, Instructor Training, twice a year for 10 years. For her own enrichment and continuing education she attended classes taught by other members of Healing Touch International. These past two years she has taken: Experiential Anatomy and Physiology for Healers Level 1, Healing Touch Presentations Class, The Australian Foundation for Healing Touch Inc. 2006 Gathering, the North Central Healing Touch Community Gathering, and the Healing Touch International, Inc.’s 10th and 11th Annual Conference and Annual Instructor Meeting.
I am seeking a position on the Board of Directors of Healing Touch International because I want to utilize my knowledge base and my passion for the Work to advance the position of HTI in our communities and in the world. I enjoy teaching very much and hold a vision that HT would be used by caring, compassionate people all over the globe.
Judy is gastdocent in Nederland en Zweden (levels 1-6).
